Although we were told these crystals were strawberry quartz they just don’t fit the description or the energy. The beauty of true strawberry quartz shows when polished and the specimens we have found are usually in small pieces such as tumbled stones and jewelry. True strawberry quartz has a fairly uniform soft red color, due to the inclusion of tiny red hair-like inclusions of hematite. Additionally strawberry quartz usually found in Kazakhstan, a former republic of the Soviet Union.

As you can see from the pictures, that does not even closely describe the vivid red phantoms found in these pieces! We’re giving you this information as our source for these beautiful crystals is calling them strawberry quartz, so many will perpetuate their incorrect name. Along with the clearly deep red phantoms are beautiful green phantoms of chlorite. These crystals also have a profusion of silver hematite crystals that not only shimmer on the surface but are manifested within the main quartz crystal. These crystals are from Brazil.
