Citrine is hard to resist, especially with this rich golden color such as this one. The inner clarity is quite nice, with shimmering veils and radiant planes that burst into rainbows. The flat shape of the main crystal is a tabby, which are wonderful for bringing out your inner child. The tabby sits on a pale citrine shard, and they both show lots of etchings which mark a self-healed crystal. The crystal is in overall very good condition, there are just a couple of minor nicks along the termination edges. There is a nice bright luster which adds to aura of radiating energy.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence.
