I usually always have an attraction for well formed phantoms in quartz, but I was blown away when I saw these amazingly dark and well formed purple phantoms in such bright and clear smoky quartz. Ethereal, the amethyst blurs and sharpens in its phantom layers, as you turn the polished double terminated point. The amethyst has such a rich deep shade of purple, contrasted by the clarity of the smoky quartz, and the equally ethereal wisps of mist and fog.
