Astrophyllite crystallizes as bladed crystals in star-shaped groups. The crystals range in color from a golden-yellow to a bronze yellow and have a slight metallic luster. The stylized triangle has been hand polished on both sides and is almost solid astrophyllite needles. This is quite unusual as the needles are both soft and brittle. The pictures do not do justice to the shimmering colors. It would make a stunning pendant or bracelet. It also is perfect for body layouts for its flattened shape.
