Astrophyllite crystallizes as bladed crystals in star-shaped groups. The crystals range in color from a golden-yellow to a bronze yellow and have a slight metallic luster. The triangle has been hand polished on both sides and is almost solid astrophyllite needles. A small area showing white matrix on one side adds just a touch of color contrast and really gives this freeform character. This is quite unusual as the needles are both soft and brittle. The pictures do not do justice to the shimmering colors. It would make a stunning pendant or bracelet. It also is perfect for body layouts for its flattened shape. The energy balances the chakra system, opening your crown, but keeping you grounded. It helps you to accept your whole self, even the parts you would like to discard, assisting you to feel whole.
