Charming Dolphin Intaglio Quartz Carving (M9047) $100.00This is a beautiful piece of quartz that has been left partially natural to showcase its incredible carving. It has a golden hue to it, but I'm not entirely sure if it is citrine due to the presence of warm golden healer inclusions. Rising from the cut base is a fine sparkling mist from which rise two playful dolphins. Intaglio carvings are created in a painstaking process where a form is carved inside of the stone. Normally only in the domain of master carvers are intaglios created. These dolphins truly will stimulate your playful and inquisitive nature. This carving has a wonderful sense of grace and movement and is truly a thing of beauty.
