Crystals and minerals from the Karur district of India are just making it back into circulation after the entire region was devastated by the Tsunami in 2004. Last year we did find some of these beautiful crystals, but they were extraordinarily expensive. This year we found stunning crystals that are infinitely more affordable! This is a good thing because the crystals coming from this area are true gems. They have bright color that is quite gemmy with rich hues of amethyst and smoky. Most of the crystals are elestial in formation with flower like forms there are some scepters too.

The energy is not like amethyst from Brazil or Madagascar. The vibrations are high and pure, awakening and opening the crown chakra to the divine. The energy flows through you down to your heart, opening and expanding your higher chakras. They assist you to embrace your higher self; openly and honestly. Meditate with them and you can feel your aura expanding and becoming lighter as negative attachments just seem to dissolve. They assist your movement to a higher plane of being.

This intriguing crystal has an inversely tapering formation that fades from deep purple at the points to a sweet lavender near the base.  The backside of the crystal shows that it was shorn away from its matrix which is beginning slowly to regrow.  If you use a loupe, you can see just under the surface of the terminations dozens of small rutile inclusions.

The crystal measures 1.5" x 0.9" x 0.6".

Amethyst brings serenity and calm, to enhance one's ability to assimilate new ideas, and to assist during meditation. It is also said to give strength and mental stability, and to provide balance between one's physical, emotional, intellectual states. Amethyst is also said to make one shrewd in business matters. Amethyst is said to help remove toxins from the body and to help treat arthritis. It also said to be useful in treating a number of disorders including those of the digestive system, heart, nervous system, skin and hearing and to help provide relief from pain and to strengthen the immune system.

Elestials are master healers and work on many-many levels. Elestial Quartz crystals used in body layouts they will purge toxicity from the major organs into the bloodstream, from which they can then be purged from by drinking lots of water. Do not work with Elestial Quartz Crystals if you do not want an abundance of lessons and change!

The translation for Elestial is “Crystal of the Angels” and thus has a strong link with the Angelic realm. One may retrieve information stored in Elestials by running your hands over the etching of the crystal, before long your hands start moving on their own, you are reading the crystal much the same way as the blind use Braille language.
